family business for the past 30 years. She is the only jewellery designer from Kerala to have her
own brand of signature jewellery. Her store M.O.D Signature Jewellery is the first designer
jewellery label in Kerala.
M.O.D’s jewellery line embeds a mixture of classic styling and elegance. The range includes
artistically created bridal jewellery to simple kid’s collections with motifs. Buying Jewellery
from ‘M.O.D’ will be a different experience, where we come across several ready-to-wear
collections that are very rare and not-seen-before in terms of design, finish and durability.
The team sources precious and semi-precious stones from all over the world.
Every piece of jewellery is handcrafted by their own in-house karigars.

What started as a hobby became a passion. For Asha, the wife of Devasiachen Mattathil, it was a
happy coincidence that she got married to the Mattathil family. The family has been in the
jewellery business for the past 5 generations. Disillusioned by the limited range of jewellery
designs available in the stores, when she was assembling her trousseau, she chose to design her
own jewellery. And, she has been designing for her family and friends ever since then. Her
creative talent has made her well-known for making exquisite pieces for weddings.
Asha is a transformational leader and she has literally revolutionized the Indian Jewellery Sector
by creating never-seen-before wearable jewellery designs. The clientele consists of names
