1)A Classic Traditional Meets Mughal Theme Wedding Film

Destination weddings are truly breathtaking. Crazy friends, beautifully decorated mandap, and your loved ones all around, blessing you as you take the vows and tie the knot! Can you dream anything more amazing?

Well, destination weddings are all about this and more, and Asha & Michiel’s wedding definitely more. They had loads of fun, non-stop celebrations. Asha was born in Kochi and grew up in Kolkata and Bangalore while Groom Michiel is of Netherland origin. They met in Rotterdam, Netherlands while pursuing their doctorates. They currently reside in Heidelberg Germany. From a stunning Kolkata wedding to a Traditional kerala wedding, each of the functions were unique.

They wanted to create a unique Traditional Wedding experience hence they chose Sarovaram, Kochi Kerala as backdrop and their wedding celebrations were from 26th of April to 6th of May. They had a Bollywood themed Sangeet day, as the name implies both bride and groom sung and danced together , followed by Haldi with the theme being yellow. The Haldi  also followed by a gorgeous Mehendi in shades of yellow.

Michiel and Asha went on to wear a gorgeously beautiful traditional wear for their Kerala Wedding. It’s truly an elegant celebration also. It’s all about the love they shared with each other and we are indeed grateful for their support and they also have given us such beautiful moments to look back on in the future!!! 2) Two States Wedding – A Gorgeous Destination Wedding At Zuri Resort

It was fall 2010 when 2 basketball fanatics bumped into one another for a couple of friendly matches at Purdue University. They remained acquaintances for the first 3 years of their college life. As the bible quotes, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens”. Fast forward to summer 2013 when coincidentally both Julia and Arnav were interning in West Lafayette. Finally they met again through mutual friends and became friends themselves.

After getting to know each other over a few months, Julia was kind enough to ask Arnav to be her boyfriend and she was certain her cartoonish behaviour and his well thought out personality was the perfect blend for a lifetime of harmony.

Finally here they are, 5 years later got married at Zuri Resorts Kumarakom. Their typical Pool Party Theme Mehendi, Royal Rajasthani Theme Sangeet Ceremony, Kerala Traditional Theme Haldi and North Indian Traditional Theme Pheras was delight and colourful. Love and laughter in no scarcity during these celebrations especially relevant. Their vows are as per Western Rustic Barn Theme.

It’s  such a pleasure to shoot Julia and Arnav and we had a blast shooting the 2-day celebrations.  Hence we wish you a lifetime of happiness.

When Nilufer and Rohit decided to have a beach wedding they knew they wanted a location which is magical, hence they chose Sri Lanka for their Destination wedding. Their wedding, an amazing experience for us.  Hence we would like to thank them for trusting us capturing them on their wedding day.

Our journey together began on 15th November morning 3 am with a buzz of happiness and revived energy..  Strikingly beautiful flight from Kochi to Sri Lanka .. We reached the venue Shangri-La’s Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa, a beach side resort by 2 pm. Traditional Sri Lankan fare, a cultural and mesmerising Sri Lankan folk dance performance welcomed us. It’s a gala affair.. Very chill vibe as the couple wanted their guests to just relax and have fun.  In addition there were also professional performers as well as energetic dance performances by the parents, friends and family members.

On 16th November Mehndi Ceremony – The colors of celebrations, the welcome kit, the fridge magnet, the food, the cards, the hash tags #loveinlanka, the music pretty awesome. Nilufer wore a beautiful Banaras Lehenga opulent in the grandeur of Banarasi silk narrating the tales of royalty and tradition designed by Poornima Indrajith ( Pranaah ), Jewellery by m.o dsignature and hazoorilal jewellers.

Preethi's father abandoned her family when she was 12. Her mother was really ambitious to pursue a career in medicine and Preethi's father had agreed to it before their marriage. Later, he refused to fulfill his promise. Preeth's father used to physically abuse her mother a lot and due to his abusive behavior, her mother lost 50 percent of eyesight in one of her eyes.

Preethi's mother had to undergo a very intense and traumatic phase due to the fear of losing Preethi to her father. In 10 years' time, her mother realized that there will come a time where she has to take care of little Preethi all on her own. Hence she shifted to Russia for education with Preethi being taken care of by her Mama-Mami. Her mother made sure to visit Preethi once in 3 months.

In the meantime, Preethi's father cheated on her mother by claiming her savings. Once Preethi's mother found out about the matter, she gave up her education in Russia and came back to Preethi. But before she flew back, Preethi's father had already set his journey to Hyderabad and that was the last time Preethi saw her father.

Preethy felt immensely guilty for the difficulties faced by her mother. Her mother soon found a job in a well-reputed firm and she committed to over-time works. Preethi would be already asleep by the time her mother reached home after work. This was Preethi's life for many years. Upon knowing her mother's life, Preethi knew very well about what to find in her partner, subconsciously. The very first thing Preethi noticed in Aben was his dissimilarities with Preethi's father; Aben is extremely honest and open-hearted. Preethi's mother loved Aben when she met him and in 2017, Preethi and Aben decided to get married.

Aben's family was reserved about the proceedings, with Aben being a Christian and Preethi being a Tamil Brahmin. Preethi's mother traveled to Kerala for convincing Aben's parents. But she couldn't get them convinced and she assured Preethi that if Preethi and Aben are happy, she will get them married. In a nutshell, Preethi's mother decided to make use of all her savings to get her daughter married to Aben. Eventually, Aben's family came on good terms.

During the wedding planning, Preethi found out that the 'Kanyadaan' ceremony performed in Tamil weddings is done with the bride being seated on her father's lap. A relative made a suggestion about Preethi being seating on her mother's lap for Kanyadaan. Preethi felt the same because all her life, her mother has been providing her both paternal and maternal care, strength, and love.

Although 5 priests rejected their idea and they argued that it is not right for their culture, Preeti was determined. Within a few weeks, they found a priest who agreed to their idea. While the Kanyadaan was being performed, Preethi and her mother glanced at each other, bursting into tears. Preethi's mother hugged her and ruffled her hair. It was their beautiful moment. It was the least Preethi could do for her mother for what her mother has gone through, giving Preethi the best life. Preethi quotes her mother as a survivor, a warrior, and a protector.
