Chennai Wedding Photographers

A beautiful couple portrait session in the nature before stepping into your
after-wedding night bash. Sounds exciting! Right? Our gorgeous couple Mahalakshmi
and Niveshkar had a great evening at Welcomhotel, Kences Palm Beach while posing
away in their lovely ethnic fits.

Unquestionably, the summer wedding trends of Chennai are bombarding us with
tons of amazing outdoor wedding portraits. Most importantly, we see a lot of
unexplored color blends just like the one we have in this series! Join us for an exciting
visual treat curated with the helpful tips of the best wedding videographers in
Chennai.

1) Chirpy Candids

Outdoor candid sessions get extra fun during the Chennai summer. Lovely natural
light and striking pink hues of bougainvillea lit up the single portraits of Mahalakshmi,
just like magic! Mahalakshmi was donned in a Tarun Tahiliani lehenga ensemble for
her big night. Clearly, the bougainvillea tones are beautifully in sync with her glossy
bridal lehenga.

Her bridal jewels are handpicked from Tanishq Jewellery, D.A.R Jewellery and
Valayaa Boutique. Unquestionably, her bridal glam is aced to perfection by MUA
Ibrahim and hairstylist Vijayaraghavan. And, drapist Anu did a great job in styling the
bridal lehenga with clean-cut pleats.

2) Dreamy Pinks

While Mahalakshmi glowed in her poses with her vivid smile and kohl-rimmed eyes,
Nivehskar’s portraits give a soothing ‘in the moment vibe. To point out, Niveshkar’s
single portraits are curated with a poetic aesthetic. Most importantly, we made sure
that the poses are simple and effortless. Adhering to our signature storytelling style,
all the clicks from this series are connected to each another.

Evidently, Niveshkar’s lovely poses are perfectly in rhythm with the poetic aesthetic
we are aiming at. Clearly, the relaxing pace that we spot in our couple’s portrait poses
is unknowingly adding a soothing touch to our frames.

3) The Lehenga Love

The matching tones of Mahalakshmi’s bridal wear and the bougainvillea batches at
Welcomhotel Kences Plam Beach made it mandatory for us to click some breezy
outfit snapshots. Definitely, pairing the Tarun Tahiliani bridal ensemble with the
green backdrop helped us bag some attractive shots solely dedicated to the bridal
wear!

Chennai Hindu wedding trends

And, experimenting with the gorgeous dupatta was so much fun indeed. When it
comes to bridal outfit photos, Chennai Hindu wedding trends have our heart. Be it
the elegant ethnic fits or the traditional heirloom jewels, there is a lot to explore in this
particular niche.

4) Late Night Glam

The statement decor for the after-wedding bash is curated by ‘The Wedding
Experience’. From ravishing light arrangements to statement decor pieces, the event
planning for the venue looks glamorous and attention-stealing. To highlight, we made
sure to capture the interesting elements of the decor while documenting the
celebratory moments of our couple onstage.

And, the night bash is held outdoors with a beautiful view of the beach. Along with
curating a statement stage decor, cozy photobooth nooks were also created. Selective
lighting points and aesthetic warm lighting lit up the beachside venue like a dream
night!

5) Sparkling Details

The interesting details of the decor include sparkling chandeliers and table showcase
pieces. As per the Chennai wedding decor trends, the presence of these attractive
decor elements elevated their wedding night to another level. From LED-lit alphabet
pieces to unique table ornaments, the event planners tried to maintain a classic warm
palette for other overall decorations.

6) Wholesome Memory Bursts

Grainy vintage black and white wedding photos are something we all love. Significantly,
candids washed in black and white tones have a special charm to them. For this series,
we have carefully handpicked a precious bunch of candids and ceremonial shots to dip in
our signature black and white hues. Evidently, techniques like selective blurring and 90s
effects have helped us polish these frames even more.

7) The Lehenga Twirl

A fun lehenga twirl shot is something that we could never miss especially if its in a
yummy green outdoor space! The couple portraits of Mahalakshmi and Niveshkar felt
absolutely magical to capture at the beautiful landscapes of Welcomhotel, Kences
Plam Beach.

Without a doubt, the best Chennai couple portraits are nourished by the summer sun
and ravishing green scapes of the city. Be it the windy weather or the shining smiles
on our couple, these ‘in motion portraits’ blessed us with some amazing lehenga
twirling photos. And, we made it a point to include as many color bursts as possible
with the breathtaking scenery at the venue.

8) Soulful Portraits

To color-tune the photos we went for a fresh punch of pastels. To highlight, we
concentrated on bringing the best pink shades for pastel themes. The couple’s
coordinated ethnic fit and garden aesthetic blended very well with our soft pastel
palette.

We hope you enjoyed flipping through the nerve-soothing visual highlights of
Mahalakshmi and Niveshkar’s special day! Curated by the talented wedding
photographers in Chennai, our collection follows the latest Chennai wedding
trends and patterns.

Contrasting to the Chennai traditional Hindu wedding photography we often spot
in the gram, our take on this night bash sticks to an editorial aesthetic. We hope our
curation inspired you to browse more on outdoor wedding photography in Chennai

Preethi's father abandoned her family when she was 12. Her mother was really ambitious to pursue a career in medicine and Preethi's father had agreed to it before their marriage. Later, he refused to fulfill his promise. Preeth's father used to physically abuse her mother a lot and due to his abusive behavior, her mother lost 50 percent of eyesight in one of her eyes.

Preethi's mother had to undergo a very intense and traumatic phase due to the fear of losing Preethi to her father. In 10 years' time, her mother realized that there will come a time where she has to take care of little Preethi all on her own. Hence she shifted to Russia for education with Preethi being taken care of by her Mama-Mami. Her mother made sure to visit Preethi once in 3 months.

In the meantime, Preethi's father cheated on her mother by claiming her savings. Once Preethi's mother found out about the matter, she gave up her education in Russia and came back to Preethi. But before she flew back, Preethi's father had already set his journey to Hyderabad and that was the last time Preethi saw her father.

Preethy felt immensely guilty for the difficulties faced by her mother. Her mother soon found a job in a well-reputed firm and she committed to over-time works. Preethi would be already asleep by the time her mother reached home after work. This was Preethi's life for many years. Upon knowing her mother's life, Preethi knew very well about what to find in her partner, subconsciously. The very first thing Preethi noticed in Aben was his dissimilarities with Preethi's father; Aben is extremely honest and open-hearted. Preethi's mother loved Aben when she met him and in 2017, Preethi and Aben decided to get married.

Aben's family was reserved about the proceedings, with Aben being a Christian and Preethi being a Tamil Brahmin. Preethi's mother traveled to Kerala for convincing Aben's parents. But she couldn't get them convinced and she assured Preethi that if Preethi and Aben are happy, she will get them married. In a nutshell, Preethi's mother decided to make use of all her savings to get her daughter married to Aben. Eventually, Aben's family came on good terms.

During the wedding planning, Preethi found out that the 'Kanyadaan' ceremony performed in Tamil weddings is done with the bride being seated on her father's lap. A relative made a suggestion about Preethi being seating on her mother's lap for Kanyadaan. Preethi felt the same because all her life, her mother has been providing her both paternal and maternal care, strength, and love.

Although 5 priests rejected their idea and they argued that it is not right for their culture, Preeti was determined. Within a few weeks, they found a priest who agreed to their idea. While the Kanyadaan was being performed, Preethi and her mother glanced at each other, bursting into tears. Preethi's mother hugged her and ruffled her hair. It was their beautiful moment. It was the least Preethi could do for her mother for what her mother has gone through, giving Preethi the best life. Preethi quotes her mother as a survivor, a warrior, and a protector.
