1) Cozy & Comfy

Outfit Ideas for brides friends

Flaunting a color that one could absolutely nail in a saree attire sounds, elegant and
cozy at the same time. Being the bride’s bestie often comes with lots of unexpected
hustles and errands. Hence, it is important to pull off something classy yet cozy to run
around and get your tasks done in a jiffy.

If you are a saree enthusiast, then make sure to handpick a color that beautifully
compliments your features and enhances your confidence. Majorly, one might not get
a quick vanity moment for makeup touch-ups and a hair fix. Thereby, your outfit shall
be sharp and sleek to restore confidence now and then.

2) Festive Glam

The first rule to ace your bestie’s wedding aesthetics is to follow the dress codes that
she would love to see you in on her wedding day. From Haldi bash to post-wedding
cocktail parties, one must take time to hunt down the perfect fit for each event.

For pre-wedding events like Haldi, make sure to coordinate your yellow attire with
that of the bride. Along with syncing the yellow Haldi palette, you shall land some
amazing candids and ceremonial portraits upon putting a good effort into twinning
with your bestie or bride’s attire.

3) The Daawani Look

Traditional outfit for brides friends

The ‘half saree looks’ or ‘Daawani looks’ for bride’s best friend is one of the most
famous looks in traditional Tamil Hindu weddings. Not only does it go with the
traditional Tamil wedding culture but also gives the best comfort as it comes with a
flared skirt, a lovely long Dupatta and a saree blouse.

Clearly, the flared skirt helps one move around so smoothly as it is often tailored of
lightweight, soft silk fabric. And, the Dupatta or the Choli wraps around the upper
half of a customary saree drape in South India. Also, you can add temple jewels and a
‘Kamar Bandh’ to take your outfit to the next level!

4) Twinning Colors

Bridal Outfit Trends

For the wedding day, twinning your outfit with the bride is felt as a special feature by
many of us. Oftentimes, it is not as easy as it sounds! The best point you could take
down is to keep the color in mind and hunt down the favorite festive attire that you
fancy wearing at the wedding.

At times, you could get lucky with the same outfit category as the bride but the main
motive here is to be by her side no matter how precise the color of your outfit is to
that of the bride’s outfit color.

5) Besties’ Code

Bride's besties Outfits

Talking about color coding with the bride’s attire, the bride squad often seems to be
coordinating each other’s outfits. Though identical outfits are worn by bridesmaids at
Christian weddings, it is not always possible to appear in such codes for all the
ceremonies.

Hence, for events like pre-wedding bashes, bridal showers and bachelor parties, the
girls’ team could appear in attires that stand out from the other guests. For example,
the team can either go for a particular outfit category that leaves a statement look like
shararas or they may block a particular color palette that stands out. Sometimes, the
bride squad manages to achieve both of these ideas to surprise the bride!

6) More Groundbreaking Ideas

7)A Confidence Boost

Outfit Ideas for Bridesmaids

Going for a minimal version of your bride’s wedding look can be the best support at
times her besties can offer. Though some brides refrain from seeing a minimal version
of her wedding look on others, some tend to fall in love with the idea as it pumps their
confidence while strolling with their besties beside them.

Here, you may go for a simplified, subtle version of the bride’s outfit choice. Be it a
lehenga or a saree or even a sparkling sharara style, you may style a subtle yet chic
version of the same outfit category. Undoubtedly, minimalism is taking the wedding
fashion with a roar.

8)Lehenga-Choli Trends

Lehenga-Choli Trends

We will not depart from an Indian wedding without spotting at least one lehenga choli
festive look. Hence, we decided to have an extended discussion on this special look.
From Bollywoold-inspired knotted blouse backs to traditional border designs, there is
no other perfect attire a bride’s bestie can go for than a well-fitted lehenga choli.

Not only does it flaunts most body shapes but also enhances one’s prominent features
in the best way possible! And, you may add flowers and quirky Indian jewels to finish
it up with a touch of vintage inspiration. Most importantly, if you have a performance,
you can completely trust a lehenga look for getting into those action-packed moves
with one hundred percent grace and comfort.

9)The Kerala Style

Kerala Kasavu attire

Embracing the traditional attires to twin with the soon-to-wed is never a dull choice!
Kerala traditional Kasavu sarees are perfect for Indian summers and there’s nothing
more elegant than draping a soft cotton Kasavu mundu attire or saree look for temple
weddings.

Definitely, there are unlimited ways one can customize a Kerala Kasavu attire for
bride’s friend as the color and fabric itself is built of minimalistic elements one could
ever find in Indian traditional wedding looks. From handmade paintings and
embroideries to ornamental designer blouses and crafty jewels, one can create sheer
magic from Kerala’s traditional Kasavu attires.

10) More Lehenga Secrets

Minimal outfit ideas for bride's besties

Minimal lehenga-cholis for bride’s bestie without a dupatta feels so much lighter
and hustle-friendly when it comes to dressing up as the bride’s bestie. Though the
dupatta plays an important role in adding that sassiness and grace to a lehenga choli
attire, you can also power up a skirt attire by adding interesting details like hangings
and brocade works.

Added to that, personalizations like adding the initials of the bride or experimental
statement works are some other options to try. Along with dressing up special for the
soon-to-be-wed, feeling yourself beautiful also deserves equal priority. Hence, make
sure that the detailing and custom works are in rhyme with your own personal style
choices.

We hope you had a great time skimming through our outfit ideas for bride’s besties.
Curating an outfit as the best friend to the bride can be quite
confusing and dilemmatic as the outfit shall resonate with the importance of your

whom they can look up to in case of any urgent needs or requirements. We wish you

Preethi's father abandoned her family when she was 12. Her mother was really ambitious to pursue a career in medicine and Preethi's father had agreed to it before their marriage. Later, he refused to fulfill his promise. Preeth's father used to physically abuse her mother a lot and due to his abusive behavior, her mother lost 50 percent of eyesight in one of her eyes.

Preethi's mother had to undergo a very intense and traumatic phase due to the fear of losing Preethi to her father. In 10 years' time, her mother realized that there will come a time where she has to take care of little Preethi all on her own. Hence she shifted to Russia for education with Preethi being taken care of by her Mama-Mami. Her mother made sure to visit Preethi once in 3 months.

In the meantime, Preethi's father cheated on her mother by claiming her savings. Once Preethi's mother found out about the matter, she gave up her education in Russia and came back to Preethi. But before she flew back, Preethi's father had already set his journey to Hyderabad and that was the last time Preethi saw her father.

Preethy felt immensely guilty for the difficulties faced by her mother. Her mother soon found a job in a well-reputed firm and she committed to over-time works. Preethi would be already asleep by the time her mother reached home after work. This was Preethi's life for many years. Upon knowing her mother's life, Preethi knew very well about what to find in her partner, subconsciously. The very first thing Preethi noticed in Aben was his dissimilarities with Preethi's father; Aben is extremely honest and open-hearted. Preethi's mother loved Aben when she met him and in 2017, Preethi and Aben decided to get married.

Aben's family was reserved about the proceedings, with Aben being a Christian and Preethi being a Tamil Brahmin. Preethi's mother traveled to Kerala for convincing Aben's parents. But she couldn't get them convinced and she assured Preethi that if Preethi and Aben are happy, she will get them married. In a nutshell, Preethi's mother decided to make use of all her savings to get her daughter married to Aben. Eventually, Aben's family came on good terms.

During the wedding planning, Preethi found out that the 'Kanyadaan' ceremony performed in Tamil weddings is done with the bride being seated on her father's lap. A relative made a suggestion about Preethi being seating on her mother's lap for Kanyadaan. Preethi felt the same because all her life, her mother has been providing her both paternal and maternal care, strength, and love.

Although 5 priests rejected their idea and they argued that it is not right for their culture, Preeti was determined. Within a few weeks, they found a priest who agreed to their idea. While the Kanyadaan was being performed, Preethi and her mother glanced at each other, bursting into tears. Preethi's mother hugged her and ruffled her hair. It was their beautiful moment. It was the least Preethi could do for her mother for what her mother has gone through, giving Preethi the best life. Preethi quotes her mother as a survivor, a warrior, and a protector.
